Highly motivated high school student seeking a summer internship to deepen computational skills and learn critical skills in AI. I underwent schooling in California and Switzerland, and am fluent in English and German. I am also studying French at an advanced level in high school.
I got accepted to Stevenson School outside of the regular application cycle on a partial scholarship for soccer to finish High School in the United States.
At Stevenson school I am part of the soccer varsity team as a starter.
Despite the 2.5 years break of schooling in Switzerland, I manage to be a straight A student. In school I especially enjoy the subjects of Biology, Chemistry, Math, and History.
My ultimate goal is pursue a college education in the United States, followed by an MBA. I am interested in the business side of everything in our environment.
Together with two Middle School friends, I founded an SAT Tutoring company .
I am also the Founder of the Business Analysis Club (BAS) at my high school, which has had notable guest speakers like the CFO of JP. Morgan, and the founder of Malbon Golf. Planned future guest speakers include the President of Stanford, Prof. Jonathan Levin, and Gustav Andreisek, MD, MBA who turned a small Kantonal hospital radiology system into a large 14 site imaging practice enterprise with academic aspirations.
In sports, soccer is what gets me really excited. In Switzerland, I was an integral part of the very successful team of my hometown club, Kreuzlingen. This rigorous training and competitive game experience tremendously helps me in my current role of a starter in the Stevenson School varsity soccer team.
Although it meant traveling by bus for over an hour each way, I got some very good training in the golf youth program at Lipperswil, Switzerland. At Stevenson, I continue my golf training, which I enjoy tremendously.
When I first got on a pair of Skis at age 10, when my mother took us to Canada for Christmas 2018, I was fascinated. I took to the sport very quickly. But in California, it was always a challenge and very expensive to keep skiing. During the 2.5 years in Switzerland, where skiing is part of the national culture and much more accessible, I managed to morph into a very skilled skier.
Growing up in California to a pair of German parents, Summers meant trips to Europe to visit the grandparents and extended family. My parents made sure to include excursions to nearby sites and historic places. My maternal uncle holds a PhD in history and political science, and he would always take me to the historic center of his hometown to explain life during past epochs. Within the US, my parents had to travel a lot to conferences and meetings. Having no family locally, that usually meant my sister and I coming along. Once I moved to Switzerland with my mother and sister in 2023, she made sure to show us as much of Europe as possible, often as part of conference travel. One of the most enticing aspects of travel to me is that I get to experience the regional cuisine. From early childhood on, I was a very curious and open-minded eater.I also enjoy baking.
