  • Management Presentations : Monthly Financial Review to Plant MD, Europe MD, Division leaders, Central CT.
  • Business cases preparations: Relocation business case (Best cost / High cost); Turnaround project for KPI improvement of the Plant.
  • Audit support : involved in the Hard-close process and Year-End closing, supporting Group Finance & Controlling.

Achievements: contributed to the successful Commercial Opportunities cross-function initiative which resulted in significant reimbursements for the Plant, received from the customer Daimler (+9 mil€).


Group Controlling Expert

  • Responsible for several Group Controlling Projects , working directly for the VP Controlling of the Electronics Business Division and collaborating with all Controlling VPs from the other Divisions.
  • Merger experience: integral part of the Central Controlling team overseeing the 6.7 bn€ merger with Faurecia and the creation on the new Forvia brand (officially launched in February 2022). Consolidation of the financial synergies and merging costs for Hella, integration & translation into the Fiscal Year Budgets, communication with all Controlling VPs of the Hella Divisions, preparation of Steering Committee slides for various Top Management presentations.
  • Internal process improvement project: analysis and benchmarking of the existing Weekly Flash process of both the Electronics and Lighting Division, presentation of results and recommendations to Central CT.

Dashboards improvement project: interviewing key users of the in-house reporting Dashboards, finding out issues and improvements potential, communicating and follow-up with responsible implementation team.

  • Oversee all FI & CT processes for the entire legal entity. Ensure requirements of local GAAP and IFRS are met and took care of all fundamental FI & CO activities: Reporting, Variance Analysis, Budgeting.
  • Continuously develop the FI & CO department. Managed 15+ HC and coordinated local hires, Hella Shared Service employees and external consultants.
  • Closely supervise the Capex planning and spending, especially focusing on the construction of the Plant and Manufacturing equipment (15 mil € in the first FY, 35 mil € in the second FY).
  • Applied for Grants from LT Government and successfully attracted 3 Mil €.
  • Developed the needed internal reporting and performance measures to Forecasting , AR/AP and Tax .

Achievements: over-achieved KPIs for the very uncertain 1st year of existence (20% improvement in EBIT).

Controlling Manager

  • Successfully coordinated all necessary parties for the registration of the new legal entity in Lithuania. Member of the core Leadership Team of the company, involved in various strategic decisions.
  • Created the initial Finance & Controlling concept of the company and set up the department from scratch overseeing the collaboration between the local team, Hella Shared Service and external consultants.
  • Prepared the first 3 years complete Budget for the new company (P&L, Capex, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
  • Oversee initial capital subscription of 15 mil€.
  • High involvement and participation in the SAP ERP implementation project which expanded over 10 months and had a cost of 1 mil€.

Achievements: participated in over 50 recruitment processes (for own department and for other teams e.g. Admin, PR) and contributed to the foundation of a Greenfield manufacturing site which became a benchmark both internally in the Hella Group but also locally in Lithuania.
