As the Downstream Area Lead, I was in charge of the early design stages of Batch Layer, following up with Emerson and Merck's process team. Participated in Vendor FAT for the BioSc Multichromatography Skids and later on, I have been involved in loop-checks and offered commissioning support and IOQ support.

I have overseen and participated in the implementation of all the changes related to the DSP Area.

Involved in the execution of the first Engineering Run by designing and updating recipes and formulas, as well as by offering my on-site and on-call support until the Final Fill steps were completed successfully.

During my role as a Project Engineer for Emerson, I worked on projects for both Chemical and Biotech industry. The main clients I worked for are:

Merck PCSD - Common Library Project 11/2020 – 02/2021

Code review and internal test of Equipment Module Classes for CIP/SIP and WFI Areas.

HOVIONE – Portugal 05/2020 – 02/2021

For this project I was the local coordinator for the Cluj team, maintaining close communication with the overall project lead and with the client. Participated in the Control Module Class Library development, baselayer generation using Project Data Link Tool, Equipment Module Classes design and implementation and FAT.

Greenfield SIngle Use Plant

Initially involved in configuration of Solution Preparation, CIP, WFI Distribution and Downstream UF/DF. Later on, on-site, I was part of the support team for commissioning activities, mainly for Downstream Areas (Ultra Filtration, Viral Filtration, Depth Filtration).

Involved in the displays creation and configuration, internal test, FAT for graphics with the client at the Emerson office in Diegam, Belgium.
