As a Library and Bookstore Assistant, I support students and faculty by ensuring seamless access to essential academic resources.

My role involves:

• Resource Management: Organizing and maintaining library materials while managing bookstore inventory to ensure availability.

• Academic Procurement: Coordinating directly with publishers to facilitate textbook ordering, ensuring all required course materials are secured for the term.

• Liaison & Communication: Maintaining consistent, proactive communication with students and faculty to address needs, provide research assistance, and provide updates on resource availability.

• Operational Support: Facilitating smooth transactions and assisting patrons with complex research inquiries to enhance the campus learning experience.

• Skilled at working independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations.

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Worked well in a team setting, providing support and guidance.

• Demonstrated respect, friendliness, and willingness to help wherever needed.

• Participated in organizing and coordinating impact labs for Youth Forum
• Switzerland 2022, focused on creating an intimate learning environment, extensive research and teamwork
• Despite covid cancelling our plans, YFS 2022 was launched in a hybrid form
