Curious and motivated high school student with a focus on physics and applied mathematics, passionate about astrophysics and computational science. Experienced in academic research and programming with Python, including a thesis project supported by interviews with researchers at ETH Zurich. Eager to gain hands-on experience in a world-class scientific environment to prepare for future studies in astronomy and astrophysics.
I completed a two-week internship at a second-hand shop in Lausanne, where I worked as part of a team to sort, hang, and organize clothes, books, and other items. I also labeled prices and assisted customers. This experience not only improved my French but also strengthened my ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to a new environment.
Together with three of my colleagues, we sold cakes and other baked goods to collect donations for the struggling families in Ukraine during the war. We met several times and raised a total of over 600 francs.
My Matura thesis explores the history of black holes, tracing key discoveries that led to the first image of one. The project combines written research with interviews from ETH Zurich researchers, offering insights into current studies and future theoretical developments in astrophysics.
