Collabera Digital is part of the Collabera group a leading digital software engineering services company globally with strong heritage in providing digital talent solutions. As the President of the company, transformed the core DNA from a talent services company to an AI powered software engineering company in the non-US markets.

  • Created a transformation strategy blueprint to become a next generation software engineering company leveraging power of AI including GTM strategy, organization structure & operating model and offerings and capabilities.
  • Created and execute a branding and marketing strategy including building new website, company tagline and all underlying branding and marketing assets.

  • Acquired, managed and grew two companies in Europe for salesforce and data driven engineering for corporate and investment banking markets.

Head of Northern Europe

I was responsible for Cognizant's business in Northern Europe. In this role I had full P&L responsibility for the four Nordic including Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland along with two delivery centers in the Baltics. The Nordics business unit became the fastest growing in the company spanning all industries and service lines through organic growth and strategic M&A and structured deals. Key achievements during this tenure include :

  • Took over a struggling business unit in 2014 and transformed it to a 500 Mn USD business in 5 years with a margin improvement of 700 bps, headcount growth from 1100 to 5000, and a running pipeline of a billion dollars.
  • Created a nearshore operating model for digital transformation and built 2 delivery centers in Lithuania, Latvia and Helsinki to address the local needs of the client for proximity and agility in digital transformation solutions.
  • Have been a trusted advisor and partner to CXO’s across the region and industries to help them pivot to a digital business model. Key clients include CXO’s from banking, insurance and EPC verticals with partnerships ranging from business and technology advisory to large efficiency and transformation programs.
  • Won large transformational deals (M&A, structured and organic) worth 2 Bn USD creating strategic revenue streams, digital and domain capabilities, and significant market share across industries. Have been training and coaching pursuit teams globally on M&A and structured deals based on the high win rate of such deals in the region.
  • Built and managed a 5000 member team globally of which 40% were based in the Nordics and Baltics that represent 10 nationalities speaking 17 languages with a diversity ratio of 52% and lowest attrition rate in the company.

As a Global Client partner for Banking and Financial services, took up the P&L management of a $ 100 Mn global services portfolio for a Swiss bank when the global banking business was going through a major downturn. Recreated the account team, made strategic investments and transformed the service portfolio to achieve a 25% Y-on-Y revenue growth in difficult market conditions.


Transformed a staff augmentation based business to a 68% managed services with locked in revenues to future proof the business from possible industry headwinds while improving margins by over 500 bps. Invested in building up a data anonymization platform called “Synonym” to address client data issues restricting the use of a global delivery model.


Won critical transformational programs in areas of internet banking channels, KYC, regulatory reporting and T24 based core banking platforms in Europe and Asia.

I am currently employed as the President of Collabera Digital - a global digital software engineering services company operating globally (outside US) with 5500 employees. In this role, I am responsible for the entire operations of the company including two acquired entities in UK. Have been creating a brand new software engineering company leveraging the power of AI enabled talent and engineering platforms.


Previously employed by Global Logic - a Hitachi group company and a leader in digital product engineering, as the Group Vice President in charge of all business in EMEA and APAC with a mandate to scale and transform the business to achieve hyper growth. From SDV's and navigational systems for leading european automotive OEM,s to creating SDN's and 5G meshes for telecom companies, had great growth across industries and regions in digital product engineering.


Short stint in IBM in the role of VP and Senior Partner heading IBM iX in EMEA. IBM iX is IBM’s digital transformation business unit within IBM Consulting, responsible for driving digital customer experience for IBM’s clients. Leading a team of strategists, designers, technologists, developers to leverage digital platforms like Adobe, Salesforce and SAP to help IBM clients reimagine and transform their businesses leveraging customer experience as a lens.


Previously, as the business head of Northern Europe for Cognizant, transformed a struggling business to grow from 50+ Mn USD business to 500 Mn USD business while improving EBITDA by 700 bps in 5 years. During this period signed deals of 2 Bn USD, acquired and transformed a captive in the Energy industry to generate 100 Mn in annual energy revenues while improving margins Acquired , built and scaled 4 delivery centres across Nordics and Baltics creating a digital talent base of 2000 consultants serving the Nordic clients locally.


Signed the largest banking platform transaction with 4 Finnish banks with a TCV of 1 Bn USD during the same period.

I joined Cognizant in 2008 and have worked in managing and growing the European business in various capacities including managing P&L of our largest banking customer in Switzerland , to creating and managing Cognizant’s GTM strategy, operating model and teams for acquiring digital business and strategic deals across Europe.


Prior to joining Cognizant, I was working at TCS as a General Manager responsible for TCS’s business unit in Texas, USA. I have held several management positions in TCS including setting up business operations in Finland, managing the sales and strategic marketing for enterprise solutions for manufacturing and utilities and heading regional markets during my 13 years in TCS.
