Winner of the Third Best Prosecution Memorial at the International Criminal Court (ICC) Moot Court Competition (05/2022)

  • Drafted a prosecution memorial for a fictional case involving aiding and abetting war crimes and crimes against humanity,

Winner of the Tolerance Decathlon at the World Tolerance Summit (11/2019)

  • Presented a community initiative which won the Tolerance Decathlon, an award given to initiatives that best serve society.
  • This initiative aimed to provide education and basic computer skills to allow university cleaning and maintenance staff to secure better job opportunities. The initiative sought to incorporate UAE universities to integrate this program as part of their student affairs program.
  • As winner of the Tolerance Decathlon, I presented my community initiative in the Second World Tolerance Summit to government officials, key players in public and private sectors, advocates of tolerance and peace experts.

Children and young people for child rights and protection - a consultation (02/2021)

  • Virtual workshop on the change strategy currently developed by UNICEF in collaboration with the Big Heart Foundation for ‘supporting children and young people as agents of change, creating platforms and opportunities for them to demand accountability and drive progress for children.
