Motivated and versatile biochemistry student in the 6. semester. Gained practical experience in different laboratories (organic chemistry, anorganic chemistry, physical chemistry, biology and biochemistry) over three years. Did some work as assistant in research including directed evolution of an enzyme, aggregation analysis of peptides and protein derived affinity probes for ubiquitin pathways. Especially interested in product development and in combining research and economy.
Experience in various laboratories and research groups
undefinedThe first two years of the Bachelors degree included extensive courses to acquire the most important practical skills in biology, organic chemistry, anorganic chemistry, physical chemistry and physical/analytical biology laboratories.
-Worked in the research of Prof. Peter Kast on the directed evolution experiments with the enzyme chorismate mutase of S. Griseus.
-Worked in the research group of Prof. Roland Riek on the aggregation landscape of alpha synuclein and various peptides in the context of the development of life and Alzheimer's disease.
-Worked on protein derived affinity probes for ubiquitin pathways in the research group of Prof. Jeffrey Bode.
-Member of ETH Entrepreneur Club (responsible for Strategic Partnerships)
