Reviewed the AfCFTA Private Sector Mapping. The research provides information on existing Regional Business Support Organizations in the African ecosystem relevant to the optimum implementation of the AfCFTA. The review included analysing the data collection methods and the degree to which the data provided good baseline statistics for impact evaluation.
Collaborated with teams and prepared project documents, including concept notes and agenda for TRTA activities such as the Women Business Associations Network launch and the export development training in Tunisia under the She Trades Empowering Women in the AfCFTA Project.
Managed multiple deadlines and prepared the Executive Director's briefing packs, remarks, and speeches, among others, for the WTO Review of Aid for Trade Work Programme.
Created and developed the zero draft concept for the project to develop a series of the AfCFTA Guided Trade Initiative Export Manual aimed at helping traders understand preferential benefits and navigate the procedural requirements of the AfCFTA.

Mobilized and led the WTO LDC group as national negotiator of the Uganda government at WTO, and focal point on services and e-commerce issues, to initiate the process for review of operationalization of the LDC's services waiver in favour of services exports and exporters from LDCs and provided information on services and e-commerce discussions to group members.
Collaborated with the WTO Secretariat to organize two stakeholder webinars on LDCs services performance, facilitating the implementation of preferences notified under the LDCs services waiver and the impact of covid 19 government measures on LDCs services performance.
Successfully lobbied for Uganda as co-chair of the 12th Ministerial Conference of the World Trade Organization held in Geneva, Switzerland.
Used strong analytical and research skills and prepared a legal opinion and briefing documents to guide national positions on the implications of the WTO draft text on investment facilitation and the TRIPS waiver decision on covid-19 vaccines adopted at WTO 12th Ministerial Conference.

Assisted in servicing the inter-ministerial steering committee under the government project that developed Uganda’s first National Action Plan on human rights, including drafting meeting notices and agenda, circulating relevant meeting documents, including briefing notes, and other background documents.
Collaborated with the Uganda Human Rights Commission and organized seven regional stakeholder consultative workshops for the project to develop Uganda’s NAP on human rights demonstrating strong organizational and time management skills.
Paid attention to detail while drafting sections of Uganda’s report presented to the Human Rights Council for the UPR
Generated the Interim Report on the follow-up of the implementation of recommendations made by the United Nations Human Rights Council regarding the UPR of Uganda's human rights situation.

Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills by researching over 20 different WTO negotiation topics, which informed country positions for negotiations.
Analyzed information, identified issues in 20 negotiation proposals, and provided legal opinions.
Cultivated interpersonal skills by building positive relationships with other country delegates at the WTO.
Developed and maintained courteous and effective working relationships and promoted Uganda’s membership in the WTO LDC Consultative Group, Africa Group and ACP group.
