For the past sevenyears, my professional focus has centered on advancing the realms of Analytical (Environmental) Chemistry specializing in molecular-level chemical composition analysis of organic aerosol and vapors by means of state-of-the-art mass spectrometry, spectroscopy, and chromatography. With a multinational academic laboratory experience and diverse background in analytical chemistry, biofuels and solid fuels testing, statistical data analysis (spectrometric and spectral data) and project management. I look forward to leveraging my knowledge and skills to address unresolved challenges in chemistry.
Project: Developing analytical methods to test aerosols and organic vapors produced by the various solid fuel emission and biofuel (e.g., biomass, coal, cooking, biogas and tobacco) with mass spectrometry instrumentation:
· Conducted emission experiments to investigate chemical substances emitted from various fuels.
· Applied chemical mass spectrometry and statistical methods to identify specific chemical tracers.
· Evaluated the fate of chemical substances emitted in the air.
Collaborated with Bioenergy and Catalysis Laboratoryto test the efficiency of sorbent materials used for clean biogas in Swiss Farmer Power Inwil AG.
Project: Biotechnology company consulting and market analysis.
· Hands-on experience in consulting advising a biotechnology company by performing extensive market analysis with a data-driven approach.
· Devised a market entry and pricing strategy to sell its products in a competitive market after conducting a thorough competitor analysis.
Project: Joint monitoring and control of air pollution in Key regions in China: Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei area, the Yangtze River Delta
· Explored the concentrations, characteristics, and sources of organic aerosols in winter in Beijing by using gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS).
· Analyzed four years (from 2013 to 2017) monitoring data and identified potential sources of atmospheric pollutants affecting visibility, which successfully helped the Chinese government to address the key factor of air pollution control and resulted in a 23% PM2.5 emission reduction.
Project: Adsorption characteristics of phosphates in wastewater
