•Quantum Logic and Ion Manipulation: Conducted advanced research on a trapped ion system, executing quantum logic operations with single ion pairs. Controlled and managed 11 lasers, ranging from UV to IR, including both CW and pulsed lasers.
•Laser System Management: Implemented complex, multi-wavelength laser control systems, including frequency and phase stabilization critical to experimental accuracy and stability.
•Team Leadership and Collaboration: Managed a team of three PhD students, serving as the primary coordinator between the team and the supervising professor, ensuring smooth operation and progress on a complex quantum optics setup
•European Consortium (COMOMET) Lead: Acted as the lead university representative for the European COMOMET consortium, responsible for coordinating efforts and aligning with international research goals.
•National Networking Initiative: Spearheaded the Swiss Quantum Research Network initiative to strengthen the fiber link dissemination among Switzerland’s key quantum labs.
Quantum Optics and Experimental Setup: Specialized in designing, building, and stabilizing quantum optics setups, including experience with frequency locking, phase locking, EOMs and AOMs
Laser System Expertise: Proficient in handling multi-laser setups across UV to IR spectra, including CW and pulsed lasers for controlled quantum operations
