I am a Sr. Digital Content Designer and Strategist, currently working at the World Meteorological Organization as a Web Manager. I have been working with digital publishing for the last 15+ years and started my career by publishing web content, then moved to more strategic roles. Furthermore, I have worked as a staff member for various UN agencies, including UNCTAD, ILO, UN Human Rights, WHO, WIPO, and currently WMO. Earlier, as an in-house content designer and information architect, I introduced content design at the ILO where I created new sections, both on the intranet and the ILO's public website. The heart of my work is to allow organizations and companies to fully embrace the power of digital, by helping them understand what works and what doesn't for your audience, how to write for digital, when to use the right channel, how to handle social media and have a sustainable strategy. My main focus is to improve the user's experience, hence my strong interest in content strategy, web writing, user experience (UX), information architecture (IA), and user research. Digital strategy is at the core of my work, and I have led internal discussions on how to improve digital governance, publishing processes, and content management in general. I have a unique understanding of these issues, due to the theoretical and practical knowledge I have acquired over the years. I can bridge communications and technology, a link that is often missing. Managing digital projects has taught me how to translate from one specialty to the other. I am a PRINCE2 Practitioner and have also worked with SCRUM.
