Collaborate with FAO, WFP, WHO, IMF, UNHCR , IOM, UNEP on socio-economic and environmental impacts

Capacity Development of Member States in Climate Change

Design of project proposals for funding including by international development and funding agencies, such as Green Climate Fund, World Bank, USAID, Ligue of Arab States, AfDB, and others

Coordinate the WMO Statements on the Status of the Global Climate

Develop Guidance for Countries on Climate Data its Management and use in various climate applications

Organize training workshops on climate variability and climate Change for Member States

Modernization of the Structure of operation and services for meteorology and climatology for the Northern Region of Morocco

Design, implementation and monitoring of projects funded by the Government and Partners

Participate in defining integrated strategy at regional and local levels on Early Warning

Collaborate with Partners including government agencies, administrations and private sector in dealing with weather, water, climate and environmental issues

Budget and Staff Management

Communication with authorities and mass media

Lead the African Climate Programme under the auspices of the African Centre of Meteorological Applications for Development (ACMAD) and the United Nation Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA)

Collaboration with Partners and development Agencies, including World Bank, USAID and other donors on resource mobilization

Coordinate conferences, workshops and training for African Countries on climate information and prediction and their application in Agriculture, food security, and health

Initiate the African Climate Outlook Forums

Head Atmospheric Research Service

Lead Snow-Pack Enhancement project over the Atlas Mountain

Collaborate with the National High Committee of Alghait programme, established under the auspices of high authorities of the kingdom

Publication of project activity reports and research paper in the international conference

Responsible for the operational and research staff

Submit annual budget proposal for the project
