  • Performs data collection from various sources including WMO surveys, partners’ information sources, publications, others as needed;
  • Screens policy documents such as NDCs and National Adaptation Plans (NAPs) to extract key information with regards to Parties’ needs and priorities;
  • Develops and maintains databases required for storing and organizing data;
  • Compiles and analyses relevant portfolio information from partners;
  • Performs statistical data analyses and synthesizes results in form of text, maps and graphs as input in different sections of State of Climate Services report, such as Trends and Needs, Global and regional status and Investment sections;
  • Analyses and maps partners’ portfolio against climate services value chain, in selected countries/regions/sub-regions;
  • Prepares presentations to synthesize results of analyses;
  • Prepares Hydro-survey data and other additional data sources for 2021 report in collaboration with relevant hydrology and water resources colleagues;
  • Carries out basic research, analyzes and presents information on selected aspects of WMO and partner extra-budgetary programmes, projects and other initiatives;
  • Assists in feeding results from programme and project implementation into WMO and international climate-related policy development, including review and analysis of issues and trends, preparation of evaluations or other research activities and studies;
  • Supports preparation of partner consultative meetings;
  • Liaises with Project Managers, project team members and other colleagues in WMO and partner organizations to obtain and present information related to implementation of projects;
  • Supports coordination of activities related to budget and funding (programme/project preparation and submissions, progress reports, financial statements, etc.) and prepares related documents/reports (pledging, work programme, programme budget, etc.).
  • Managing Climate services project funded by European Union such as ClimatEurope2 project.
  • Managing CREWS funded projects such CREWS Malawi.
